AP Biology

This course follows the curriculum established by the College Board and prepares students to take the Advanced Placement exam in biology—a requirement of this course. The outline will follow the objectives of a first-year college biology course with equal emphasis on each of the three major content areas: molecular and cellular biology, organism biology and population biology. Laboratory experiments, observation and research will be important parts of the curriculum.

If you are taking this course as a freshman and/or this counts as your Biology credit you are required to also take a state mandated end of course exam (EOC).
