Tina Beck has been teaching since 2004. She has taught numerous disciplines and Honors level courses including AP Comparative Government and Politics, U.S. Government, Economics, World History, U.S. History, English, and Drama. She has earned her BS in Justice Administration with a minor in Psychology and her M.Ed with a major in Cross-Cultural Teaching. Ms. Beck taught seven years in San Diego California returning to her hometown of Louisville in 2011.
Mrs. Beck has been married to her husband Chad since 2013 and they had their first child in May 2015. Mrs. Beck has traveled overseas to Swaziland, Germany, England, France, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Slovenia, and the Czech Republic. She loves to incorporate her experiences into the classroom emphasizing a global perspective. Her love of politics, travel, and world events shapes her classroom teaching style. She is currently a Y Club and National Honor Society sponsor at NOHS. In the past she has been an ASB advisor, trip coordinator, and coached competitive cheerleading at the junior high, high school, and the college level.
