Mrs. Kristi Hodges holds a BA in English from Middle Tennessee State University and a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Central Florida. She has earned her National Board Certification in Secondary Language Arts. Mrs. Hodges is currently serving as lead teacher for the English Department. She has been an educator for fourteen years. Mrs. Hodges currently teaches Freshmen English, Honors Freshman English, and Senior English. Two years ago she earned certification to teach AP English Language after attending the AP Institute at Western Kentucky University. She believes in developing strong student-teacher relationships to promote student confidence. She strives to create a positive learning environment where students gain the skills to become life- long learners. In her spare time she enjoys reading, vacationing, and spending time with her husband and children.
